First I had ordered the YHY bowls. It was too yellow and heavy. It was also not very refined. there were numerous flaws in each bowl. Then, I ordered these and the Sweese. The Sweese was much better made, but it was even yellower. I wasn't sure about these AnBnCn bowls, because of the rim, but after weighing the differences, these won out for multiple reasons:a. These are the lighter of the group. YHY weighs 18.45 oz. AnBnCn weighs 18.66 oz. Sweese weighs 23.32 oz. Oddly enough, though.these AnBnCn feel lightest in the hand.it's better balanced. The Sweese felt like a workout to be handling the dishes!b. Although these have a wider diameter, the capacity is identical to YHY. I like the width because it's more like a bowl-plate and I can eat more different types of meals in them.c. It's also the whitest of the 3, although it's still not pure white like my other dishes.d. I like the rim, after all. It dresses up the dish so it can be used for entertaining.I suppose I could try more brands, but I've given up searching for a truly white low bowl on revain. I'm prettey sure that we'll be enjoying these!
