These absolutely work.
Yes, they're a little more expensive than you think when you open the box, but they work 1000% better than small circles. I was so desperate to keep my cutting projects steady that I put strips of double sided tape on my cutting mat to keep it stable. While that helped, it created a few more problems of its own. For the price of three good quality lattes, buy a few and you'll be glad you did.
