I was pleasantly surprised that these lamps work so well. I like to use low wattage yellow bulbs as night lights in the back of the house. Yellow doesn't attract as many insects. They turn on automatically at dusk for good light and are perfect for my night cams. I didn't have to install additional dusk and dawn sensors or worry about where to point the sensor. Just screw in these bulbs and leave the circuit on. They mount under the hood without a protective cover, so we'll see how well they hold up over time. So far they are doing well.
