Main brushes not working

Main brushes not working. Not only do they sound terrible, they can't even pick up dirt from the floor. Roomba warned me that the brushes were stuck (couldn't rotate). When I went to fix it I saw that there was no such problem. When I asked Roomba to do a small cleaning before changing the brushes, the problem described above did not exist.
