Review on 5-Inch Susan Bates Weaving Needle in Durable Steel Material by Michelle Langley

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Best for refinishing hand knitting

My first Susan Bates weaving needle was purchased in 1998 and has never been lost in all the years that followed, despite cross country travel, numerous vacations and my own forgetfulness. That said, it was never lost until early 2012. I tried to find it between the seat cushions with a magnet attached to the end of a stick, I was so desperate. Since it didn't show up, I ordered two more - one for my travel bag and one for home. Then the first one showed up, so there were three, and then somehow two of them got lost. This pissed me off so much that I ordered another one. Now all four are accounted for and I couldn't be happier. This needle is nice and long so it's easy to manipulate when sewing or even sewing ends. It has a nice eyelet that tucks in easily, which just saddens me at Artyarns beading threads (but I just cut the beading threads and sewed the rest on). It's easy to grip and has a nice blunt tip. I highly recommend it!
