Light bright enough for others to see you; However, if you're looking for a headlamp that lights your way, then this light isn't for you. I was disappointed with this but figured I could get a second set to make up for the lack of a backlight. Well when I took my bike out on my 3rd or 4th ride with these lights on, the mount fell apart! The sealing rubber fell to the ground. There I was in the dark, ready to go, and needless to say I won't be getting a second set. Newbie so I ride tarmac with as few bumps and hills as I can find; I also carefully secure my bike on the back of the truck. So I can't believe the structure collapsed due to turbulence. Probably bad design (or I'm unlucky enough to get a broken one). Either way: disappointing. The backlight/red light is also disappointing. I rode twice for an hour with a freshly charged taillight and it went out when I was done - I don't know when it went out but I can tell you it didn't last an hour.
