I was very pleased with this support. I have found that if I only needed light compression I would only use the sock and if I needed firmer support I would use a wrap over it. I didn't know this when I bought it (I just wasn't looking hard enough I guess) but the brace has a loop at the end that you put your foot through and that goes around the arch. If you have a wide/swollen foot, it may be too tight. It was almost uncomfortably tight on me and I have very narrow feet. After a few hours of wearing it has loosened up a bit and is now comfortable. This is good if you just need some light ankle support in addition to compression and support for plantar fasciitis.
