Installation was easy. The 1/2" top plate means I don't have to worry about placing this directly on top of the rack. Don't worry about putting the jar in space anymore. that I got a bad bulb in the batch. I would have sent them back but I didn't need everything I ordered so I had a spare bulb. (I made 3 orders for a total of 12 pieces, I only needed 10, not bad with only one minus).
