This is a very strong phone holder that does not affect the operation of the buttons on the phone (Oneplus Nord 10). You don't need to mess around with spacers to install it on most handlebars. It just clamps until it grabs the steering wheel. I had a little trouble aligning the nut that attaches the bracket to the ball joint at the back. If I hadn't unscrewed the lock nut all the way out, the ball joint wouldn't have fit in the socket. With the ball joint in place, the nut was difficult to thread onto its threads. Once assembled, the design offers plenty of scope to adjust the tightness of the ball joint. There is a small lever on the back of the mount that can be used to secure the phone in the mount. It is very difficult to open and close. Luckily for my purposes, the spring-loaded clamp system keeps the phone secure without having to close the lock. It may be different for mountain bikers or motorcyclists, but mostly I ride my bike on paved bike paths or roads. One improvement I'd like to make myself is adding magnets under the bottom half of the rubber pad that the phone rests on. I use magnetic phone mounts in many places and it would be nice to have the extra protection for my phone that the magnets could provide.
