I have 2 welders - a Century All-Star 240V gas Mig welder and a small 120V titanium flux cored wire welder. I use a smaller welder in my shop to fix an old jeep with rusty floors and some front axle brackets that need replacing. With all of this, I want to keep the tip free of debris while I weld on the new lower arm mounts and the coil and shock mounts. The smaller welder tends to spit out a lot of spatter and they get scattered everywhere too. I take the nib, which works best when hot, and dip it in Cooter Snot, which forms a bluish slime on the nib that helps protect the nib from further spatter buildup on the nib. My welder came with only two tips. So with the Cooter Snot on the tip it should keep the tip in tip top shape. Price was definitely a factor in this purchase but when the product arrived in the mail the jar was a lot larger than I thought it would be. Do not complain! This is a great product too!
