The toilet seat cushion was purchased to facilitate healing after surgery. The foam conforms to your body while sitting on the toilet. It's definitely not strong enough to lift you to pillow height. (It wasn't designed for that.) The padding helps settle your butt instead of sitting on a hard plastic toilet seat. The pillow also feels warm. It's a shame I didn't think about it sooner after the operation. It has made a huge difference to me and my recovery. I've also suggested that my doctor add this to my list of useful items for at-home recovery.
