We have very large seats and I doubted they would work based on some reviews. But I think the people who wrote these reviews either didn't measure correctly or didn't install the lid properly. Judging by some pictures it is clear that they do not follow the instructions. YOU MUST REMOVE THE SEAT FROM THE CHAIR. You can't just try to put the seat cover on while it's still attached to the chair. I was hesitant to do this part but in the end it turned out to be very easy, just a few screws and I had the motivation to tweak some of them. tree while I was on it. These covers are great, they are soft, thick and beautiful. I covered the horribly disfigured skin that the cat's nightmare had destroyed. Now they look like new chairs. Could not be better. The red color in the picture is a little lighter than in real light, more like a classic wine red.
