Putting something in the hole yes speed sensor. not so great. It was cheap and I got what I paid for. When this meter reads 3, it's an upside down "F". Segments work well, but 3 doesn't illuminate the bottom segment of the display. Otherwise, the revs on my 6-cylinder with MSD and speedometer output jump everywhere. Idle is ok, high revs are mostly ok, but on the way up or down this gauge sometimes shows 8-9000 rpm when I'm around 4000. I'll pull that out and get an analog gauge. The seller is urging me to change or delete my review. In fairness, the seller offered to return the money or replace the sensor, but I refused. The seller has sent another email asking me to edit or delete my review. I'm sorry you don't like my review; Poor quality sensor and I stand by my assessment and rating. Don't ask me to change my rating again.
