A defective upper cam lock makes the gate UNSECURE.
Took about an hour to install. The instructions are decent, but if you're installing them on railings, they're overlooking a few key steps that are required for the gate to function properly. I gave this product one star for one reason. The top cam locks on my gates were loose. What does it mean when the top of the gate can slide inwards, meaning the top latch will not latch! There is no solution for this in the manual. I was able to fix this myself by using a vise to bend the parts holding the two sliding gates together. If I didn't understand that, then this product would be UNSAFE. I want other parents to know before they buy this gate.
