I bought the 8ft and 12ft versions of these. Unfortunately, the ends are too big to fit in my Creative Labs or JVC headphones, so they did NOT work for my purposes. on the back, and it's like it would work in Creative Labs headphones, but the chord is also covered by a fairly thick, stiff insulating sleeve that doesn't drape well at all, so it just doesn't fit very well. Generally, I'm fed up with cheap Chinese crap that's designed on the basis that metal is expensive and plastic is cheap, so these things are made with huge insulating sleeves and really crappy copper wire. I would advise doing the exact opposite. A very thin, braided, silver-plated steel core - it only needs to conduct a few milliwatts - and a very strong, thin, braided Kevlar insulating jacket. Effects that weigh next to nothing. This isn't rocket science. strewn with thick, clumsy stuff.
