Very difficult to get into. Then it got stuck because of the o-rings. I had to twist to get it out and it broke in half. Luckily the bottom half was held in place by a fiberglass thread so it came out. Otherwise it would be a great catastrophe. I ended up spending on an expensive dipstick that said it was easy to use. Spiral metal probe that fits snugly into the pipe. It worked great.
