I didn't even need a new hot glue gun but the design was so cool I had to try it! I'm glad I did. Before that I had a 25w mini that is really lacking, a big 100w mini that gets too hot and another 60w mini that is pretty good. But I doubt I'll be using any of them now that I have this new one. I really like the way he stands up. It also comes with an old style wire stand and the base stand is removable if you want to use it as old style glue guns, but I like the base stand. With my old guns, I tried very hard to put them down carefully so they wouldn't tip over, but as soon as I hit a table or something, they fell off immediately. drove me crazy Not so with this gun - you just place it on the table and it stays upright. You don't even have to think about it. On projects where I take and write a lot, I'll probably be 25% faster.
