Excellent super large swivel mount for the price

This mount is pretty solid with a 100lb 85" TV plus some accessories and honestly for the money not bad at all for mounting very large displays. don't trust the built in spirit level, bring your own to the party Luckily the built in spirit level was only slightly wrong and I was able to fix the TV easily by adjusting the mount but this annoyed me when I tried to be more precise with my settings. When I loaded it on the heavier side, I hit two bolts (with a 16-inch center structure, that's all you can hit) with a lag on the top mount to use the slide function to power it for to hold me, and here's two lag spax performance in the lower mounts as I trust those with heavy loads more. I also used 8 more 265 studs in the drywall and spaced them evenly around the remaining mounting holes to get an even spacing of 4 between the 2 studs and 4 outside the 2 studs at the corners. I used snap switches to provide as many contact points as possible for both additional load support and stability when the mount is extended. This made the mount very stable when moving the 125 pounds that's on it, and I'm not worried about the expensive 85-inch Sony going anywhere. It's much easier to move the display around to change the HDMI cable or access the USB ports for manual updates/media playback etc. simple tasks that would otherwise be impossible without help. That said, there are much nicer hinged mounts out there, but they cost a lot more and, frankly, don't offer the same value as these sturdy Monoprice mounts.
