In my case, I wanted to mount the largest possible TV on a 68" wide wall . Bought the full swivel TV mount because it was advertised as 33.8 inches wide and I would have preferred it to either rest on three studs or be wide enough to center in the wall and still be on at least two hairpins to rest. The specified wall panel width is incorrect. Its width is only 23 inches, not 33.8 inches. Reviewers who mention it can hit three 16-inch spikes are wrong. You must have considered a different model.
