This is a great little visor as it ticks all the boxes for fit and function. This is a fabric covered foam umbrella with a rolled up lace to attach it to your head. It's not unusual, but I like it because I didn't want anything to draw attention. It is very light and adapts well to the contour of the forehead. This leaves a small footprint, but it disappears. The coil tension is suitable for calm weather or light breezes but not safe for windy conditions so not recommended for water sports. You can tighten it by continuing to pull the coil. I have Joe Boxer visors that use a plastic U shape to hold them up, but they always gave me a headache after 20-30 minutes. It's not like this. The visor actually sticks out a bit more on this visor: 3 3/4" compared to 2 3/4" on the Joe Boxer visors. Although it's not noticeable as some of these very large visors are a good compromise. Another feature I really appreciate is that there is no band on the forehead to lift my bangs so they don't ruin my hair.
