Right out of the box I was hopeful, looked and felt like quality, well at least it seemed like it should be better than the other pair that the I used to be a mobile mechanic and most of my work is done at night so I powered this with a 145Ah battery that charges while I'm on the road. The batteries allow me to easily run 10000 lumens at midnight and sometimes into the morning actually this inverter is overkill just for lighting but it also sometimes runs two Milwaukee chargers that can charge both 18v and 12v batteries, but the whole thing still runs without problems, because I chose 3000 watts for me. Air installation instead of noisy and slow 12v I use a very quiet and efficient 120v installation, also this inverter works without any problems, it needs 900w right at start and then install and run at around 3-400w until it settles turns off. goes away on its own, well it was fine for a week anyway, then I noticed it started draining my batteries a bit and each day it got a little bit worse than the day before and now it's getting all Bank drain faster if I just leave it on than the nav light compressor and all that madness I have no idea what he's doing with all that energy but it's really annoying having to turn him on and off for every little thing I use him for turn off properly for more than a week I can't recommend this thing, at this price I find the lifespan of this inverter a joke, very disappointing.
