Review on 🎵 Audiovox XMBB1 XM Compact Sound System: Enhance Your Audio Experience by Francisco Holmes

Ordered this week, get XMAS100 Boombox first. Revain quickly gave me the correct XMBB1 but as soon as I reported the error. This gave me the opportunity to test both XMAS100 and XMBB1. I have a Delphi XpressRC head unit that I use with this boombox. In short, I prefer XMBB1 and here's why. Its antenna has a neat little setup so it can be mounted neatly on the back of the unit flush with a surface, or you can extend it a full 21 feet to place near a window etc. The XMAS100 has only one connector and doesn't have a smooth finish. an interface to store it in/on the device, so I think the XMAS100 is intended for permanent installation. Also, the XMBB1 runs on 8C batteries or a plug, while the XMAS100 runs on a plug only. These two features make the XMBB1 very portable, you can take it to the beach, park etc. all in a compact package with antenna and working batteries. The XMAS100 has a remote control, but many of the XM head units that you connect to it come with their own remote controls anyway. The XMAS100 looks more refined with a brushed aluminum finish, but the XMBB1 isn't bad either. Also, the price of XMBB1 is now 33% cheaper than XMAS100. Both have an AUX input for connecting another audio source if you want. The sound of the XMBB1 is excellent, as is that of the XMAS100, the bass can be heard very clearly. Hope this helps you decide.
