I bought a Garmin Fenix 5 watch that originally came with a neon yellow strap. Instead, I wanted a black bench, something I could wear comfortably anywhere, be it to work, to the pool, jogging, etc. While this strap appears to be the same as the Garmin strap, everyday use clearly confirms that this is not the case so long-lived. This was my second Garmin like copy for my Fenix. The first one broke after 5-6 months. It also broke after 5-6 months. I used the tape daily during training and on other occasions. The plastic piece that holds the extra watch strap is broken so the part of the strap after the clasp is hanging around, especially in the pool. After that I gave up and started using the original Garmin strap. 1.5 years with no problems. That includes swimming 15-20,000 meters a week, cycling and running hundreds of miles, a few Ironman races, etc. No problem with a Garmin strap. If you are a real athlete who will use your watch seriously, don't buy a fake strap, you are better off getting a Garmin strap.
