$19 Camera with great picture and decent night vision, adjustment is key to positioning the camera for optimal night vision. A direct point on an object can reflect IR back into the lens, and a high lens setting loses night vision illumination range. These cameras have a wide projection with clear video, but the quality isn't 1-2 megapixels, but decent enough to see the face up close. I recommend this camera for your budget surveillance system. I see some feedback about grainy images. If you are using your surveillance system's original video cable, this can be a problem. I would suggest an RG 58 coax for an upgrade which should improve picture quality. The cable signal is very important for clarity. My photos use RG 58 75 ohm cable.
