These are the knee socks I was looking for. I wear western style work boots and the tops rub against my feet and irritate my skin so I looked for boot socks that were high enough to protect my feet. Many boot socks are either too short or don't last long, so I decided to try knee socks. It took trial and error, but I finally found what I was looking for! You are high enough and stay up! They fit a little tight but not too tight like a slight compression but they don't fit those with large calves. The sole has a terry padding that I need for everyday wear with my work boots. I bought the adult small as I have small feet, size 8.5 and they fit perfectly. I'm 5'8" and my socks are down to my knees. The colors are fun too. Update: I've bought three more pairs, love them so much!
