work later. I had to glue the screws into the dowels and glue the metal part that screws onto the dowels into the handles on the ends. For what it's worth I'd have to do anything but use it happily. I wasn't planning on remaking the product to make it stick firmly to the canvas but if I hadn't it wouldn't have worked at all. Update - more than 3 years later. It didn't stick together well. The issues I had with the grips used to tighten remain. Now it's all peeling and sticky or, worse, doesn't hold at all. A handle has come loose from the metal insert despite my taping and who knows where it is now. I'm in the market for a replacement for this.
