Continuous, hygienic fermentation data

Benefits: Easily determine when fermentation starts and ends without taking a sample. Almost continuous information. The Google Sheet hosted site is already set up and easy to use. Cons: Requires a dedicated smart device in "always-on" mode for continuous readings. The range of the Bluetooth is very small - the smart device has to be almost in the fermenter to get a reading. Point calibration for accurate readings. Gravity values are discarded by the launch pad, Krausen, digester walls, CO2, etc. The instructions that come with it don't mention anything about the need for multi-point calibration or the "Krausen effect" that causes the gravity value to increase (yes, increase). when fermentation begins. the mood subsided. With this device, I noticed that the end of fermentation seemed to be taking longer than I could tell from the hydrometer, and this prompted me to increase the fermentation time by several days than before. Improvements The device can use Wi-Fi instead of Bluetooth and optionally connect to the PC application. Then there would be no need to waste a smart device (and that's a screen!). In the attached material, mention the PBW sensitivity (mine sat in PBW for 2 days before I read on the website that it could be harmful.), the Krausen effect and the multi-point calibration required. Or just add a link to your website and remove the "quick start" implying that the device is ready to use. controller), so charging $130 for a device is absurd.
