So, about that strange smell. Yes, it doesn't smell like the wonderful scent of other leather products I've owned. I'd love to put it out in the sun on a hot summer day, but since fall is here I'll just leave it in the garage for a while. I don't know what else to do. I bought it for a vacation bag to hold my shit on. Hope it doesn't stink for long. The bag itself looks very nice and looks well folded. Also, I took it with me on a trip. And it did a great job with my wallet, sunglasses, travel documents, passports and more. And it totally stunk the whole time. I didn't even want to take it with me, but I needed it to house all my shit. He found his way to the trash can! I read about weird leather smells and concluded that it was improperly tanned and was in fact ROTTED! Pooh! If I could I would rate it well under one star, like -10!
