HEPA filtration but noise and limited airflow
Ideal for Mazda CX-9. Definitely restricts airflow; You need to turn the fan another 2-3 steps so that it blows with the same intensity. There is also an audible sound behind the dashboard when air hits the filter. If you want HEPA, this is a compromise. Back to normal cabin filters.
- Meltblown electrostatic layer and high density media provide better capture capabilities; An additional layer of static cotton added to the HEPA material ensures high retention of fine particles.
