Six months after installing the screen, I noticed that the bottom of the screen had suddenly detached from the frame. Ouch. Anyone who assembled one of these screens will understand the pain I felt then and there. I quickly went to the Elite Screens support page to fill out an RMA request. I also sent them a message through Revain. I received a response within 1 day and confirmation that my new screen was on the way within 2 days. Am I looking forward to putting it all back together? no Am I always grateful to Elite Screens for their prompt support? would anyway! This time I will be more careful with the screen assembly. It's likely that there was a small crack previously which I didn't notice and the stress caused by the frame caused the crack to enlarge over time. In any case, new installers should take their time with this. If necessary, read the instructions 8 or 9 times. The Elite provides the same online instructions found in the box, so feel free to read them while you wait for the screen to appear. I would also recommend taking a look at their dimensions and using blue masking tape to model the shape on your wall.
