I think I should have done more research before buying two non-VESA compliant monitors (regardless). I couldn't install them on my cool new dual monitor stands. This adapter helped. There are too many customization options here. Seems like there should be a better option than screws. When they face each other, they scratch the monitor. When they point outward they are difficult to put on and take off and look very bad. (Even Velcro would be better.) For a better look, they come with caps that cover the screw heads (you'll see). Wait until you are sure of your setting before putting the caps on, otherwise you will have to find a needle to remove them. Most importantly, if you are considering this adapter, measure the thickness of your monitor. My monitors were too thin and required pads similar to Tobacco Road. Not the look I wanted.
