Okay it works, and okay, but it seems like it shouldn't

So, there was a lot of profanity during the assembly process. Why? Because it didn't look like it was going to work. I didn't follow the instructions at the time because it didn't look like it was going to work. Then I went back to the instructions, unscrewed something, and it didn't work. Then I tried again, the same way, and it worked. And now it works. Really really good. So yes it works, but it looks like it shouldn't and behaves like it shouldn't.

Monitor solution without VESA mount

For mounting the screen without VESA mount on the back. One might see this as a downside, but I don't think so - the grips holding the screen are visible from the front. But if you think about it, the ends of the brackets should be such that they can support a reasonable weight and thickness. Speaking of thickness, my screen was actually too thin and I had to add a washer to secure the screen. I still give 5 stars because other VESA adapters were much more expensive.

Weak and not suitable for curved monitors.

Feels very flimsy and not at all what I was expecting. If the back of your monitor is curved in any way, it most likely won't work very well. The rubber pieces holding the monitor are also huge, covering part of the screen unless you have a huge bezel. It felt like it was putting too much weight on the screen itself as the weight is carried by the rubber feet on the side of the screen. Sent it back and just gave up using this non-VESA monitor on a stand.

Somewhat obscure instructions but positive results

I was a bit skeptical at first and the whole installation process was a bit frustrating at times, but once it was attached and mounted to the monitor I am overall very happy with this mount. The mount doesn't seem strong enough at first, but once I had it fully installed I was pleasantly surprised at how it fits. It helps that I went with an all steel frame mount. If you use a lower quality mount, you may not get as good results.

Works well, but far from ideal.

. That's the Way It Should Be Seems to be a problem with all VESA adapter mounts, not just this one. Maybe it has more to do with the monitor than the mount. I found out after buying a monitor that won't install. If I had money I would buy another monitor and I gave the one I bought to my son. I would only recommend this adapter as a last resort for installing a monitor.

Lots of fiddling required Approximately

I think I should have done more research before buying two non-VESA compliant monitors (regardless). I couldn't install them on my cool new dual monitor stands. This adapter helped. There are too many customization options here. Seems like there should be a better option than screws. When they face each other, they scratch the monitor.
