Review on ๐Ÿ’ช Highly Effective Finish Powerball Tabs Dishwasher Detergent with Power and Free Formula - 27 Count by Pamela Whitworth

Cleans well but leaves an unpleasant odor

They don't seem to clean as well as regular Finish Powerball Tabs or Cascade Complete Action Pac but seem to work better than Finish Gel Pac and Cascade Action Pack. I've only done one or two downloads with Finish Quantum, but I haven't noticed any difference between Quantum and regular Powerball tabs, and the latter are much cheaper. I decided to give it a try because he claims it's less. aggressive chemicals. Seems to clean up decently, although I did notice a few poorly washed plates which I left with the next load and still hadn't been washed. I ended up hand washing them. However, much more negative is that after a few weeks of use I noticed that the dishwasher and clean dishes have this unpleasant smell after the cycle is completed. I didn't notice it the first few washes, but after a while it definitely made itself felt. I could describe it as something like the smell of dirty water. Another reviewer described it as having a greasy smell. Anyway, it's definitely annoying. In any case, it is unacceptable, especially since it lingers in cups and spoils the taste of drinks. Interestingly, when I looked at the ingredients list on Reckitt Benckiser's (the company that owns the Finish brand) website, I found that the ingredients list is about the same as regular Powerball tabs. And oddly, even though the Power & Free brand touts the "effect of hydrogen peroxide," the safety data sheet notes that regular Finish Powerball tablets contain a higher concentration of sodium percarbonate - a source of hydrogen peroxide - than the usual show 10-20%, and these Power & Free show 2.5-10%.
