My dog hates boots. He hates the PAWZ boots a little less, but it hurts so much to put them on. I have to fight him every time we go outside and I fight him for a few minutes and he bites my hands. This is torture for me and for him. I decided to try this device because it cost $12 and if it had worked our experience might have been a little better which would have been important anyway. Just make sure you choose the right size for the PAWZ you are using. The loop should be large enough for your dog's paw to fit through. I've read other reviews that said the tool has sharp edges and mine had a few sharp edges but nothing a nail file couldn't fix. A 10-minute task turned into 2 minutes. My dog is happy because I don't catch him with dew claws, I'm happy because I have all my fingers. It's worth it.
