This mug would have gotten 5 stars if it weren't for the lid design. First off, let me say that the concept of an internal ceramic coating is amazing for who wants their hot drink to have a metallic taste (hot tea is particularly prone to metallic taste). There are many ceramic travel mugs on the market but none will keep your drink hot to the last drop except this one as this is the only one I could find that actually has insulated walls. Others with bamboo exteriors aren't good at keeping your drink hot for more than a few minutes, but this one is worth staying warm. If the company hadn't lowered the price by making the lid too short to accommodate both the locking mechanism and the mouth and chin area, this mug would have been amazing. In short, their decision to save money by making the breech shorter instead of about an inch taller means the breech mechanism hits your chin with every sip. I'm uploading a picture to show the ridiculous spacing on the rotating lid. It's a real shame because using this concept mug is 100% annoying. If they lengthened the lid, this problem would go away.
