Review on 🔧 Arctic Cat Wildcat 0487-089 Replacement Shift Cable - Dudubuy New by Deelo Sylvester

First impression before fitting: all very similar to the original but not as smooth as hoped. The big difference was that the end of the two nuts I installed on the derailleur side were not flat. I had to file the threads to fit the bracket. The gear side was flat and fitted well. Half an hour turned into an hourly job for me. Other small differences were that the cleated bushings were slightly cheaper and the cleated bushings were slightly thinner on the outside diameter. Essentially less material and perhaps weaker. I broke the old one because it was so hard to change and tried to force it. The shifter is also slightly bent. I found that my clutch was not fully disengaged and needs a very good cleaning. Just buying belt dust still resulted in him barely tying. Now it shifts great! The cable works very well, but I'll go back to OEM next time. It's only $10 more from an online parts store with slower delivery of gross stuff. But for less than $60 I was able to get exactly the quality I wanted. This one suits me too.
