I use slime for a Fr8 family cargo bike. I drive all the time. Bike to work. Bike trip with the family. Changing pads on a loaded cargo bike with an internal hub sucks. Although I have good puncture-proof tires, I sprayed slime as a precaution. Was disappointed to wake up from the back apartment the other day. After examining the tire, I found the culprit. I pulled out this little screw that was firmly seated in the protector. The screw was about 1/8 inch wide. I removed the bolt, inflated the tire and quickly unbolted it. At first I could hear hissing of air, but after a few twists the hissing stopped as the slime blocked the hole! Then I pumped it up to maximum pressure and off we went! This tire still holds air after many kilometers. The thing works great! I hate flat tires, especially on a loaded cargo bike. I recommend keeping a bottle handy for emergencies or injecting it into your hoses ahead of time. It's worth it!
