My wife and I love to travel the world (she grew up in an immigrant family) and we had a hard time finding a blanket for our bed that reminded us of the world in that we lived travelled. Then we found it. The blanket took a while to arrive as it came from India. Arrived in multiple packages. When I opened the package it looked exactly as described and its smell reminded me of the markets when I visited India a few years ago. As with any fabric you buy I would recommend washing it before use. I washed it on the gentle cycle with cold water, regular detergent and fabric softener, then tumble dried on low heat for 50 minutes. It's immediately clear that this is handmade and the quality looks good. The top is beautifully painted, patterned and stitched. The back is a solid pink, but it works. In general we are very satisfied with the purchase.
