Review on ๐Ÿ‰ Redragon M908 Impact RGB LED MMO Mouse: 12,400 DPI, 20 Programmable Buttons - High Precision Gaming Mouse by April Smith

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Replaced my G600, very good, needs some minor adjustments for 5 stars

My G600 didn't go through the 'big' cycle and then fell apart like most Logitech products these days (earlier than Logitech was simply the best), mainly because of its software and short lifespan. I went into detail on how it went wrong in the G600 review, in my G600 review if you're interested this review is all about the M908, broken down into interesting sections. Experience with Logitech, as well as some negative complaints about the Red Dragon package. Firstly, it's not in question, just download and install it from the Red Dragon website in the US. I've attached a series of images of its interface and I can assure you that it's reliable, intuitive to use and has a very light presence. Although some will point out that he only has 5 profiles to assign, as someone who plays a large number of games I can tell you that having many different profiles is not an advantage. I use the same basic keybindings regardless of the game, I assign specific functions in-game, and the macro maker is versatile and reliable. on both sides, which make the base of the mouse wider. This is a bit of a mixed bag that needs some explanation. Proper fit provides a very comfortable and intuitive place to rest your pinky, and the groove for your ring finger above keeps your finger snug. I like the right flange ok and there are no complaints about it, it's the left one that rests the thumb that costs the M908 star. The left flange gives my thumb a comfortable resting place, but it comes at a price. The flange fits the first 6 side buttons, but on the 2nd set of 6 it prevents me from accessing the bottom two rear buttons (#7 & 10). I couldn't push these buttons without putting my thumb in the flange so I could push them. The design would benefit from slightly reducing the flange groove curvature or raising the mouse's profile 1/2 inch from the base, either way, that's the only downside to the M908, IMO. However, over time I've learned to use my thumb differently than the G600 taught me and have come to terms with the shape of the M908. The wheel and top buttons aren't anything special, but they feel pretty solid, although buttons 5 and 6 move further up than I'm used to. I ended up assigning them the least-used features. Button 4, small and next to the left mouse button, is a great little feature that I didn't know I wanted until I started using it. and easy access. The side button pad is smooth and slopes inward to form two thumb channels that are easy to slip into and with a little practice you'll easily find which one you want to use. They are typical MMO mouse sizes. So if you find other MMO mice's side buttons too small, you'll have the same problem with the M908, but if you're happy with the standard sizes, you'll feel right at home. . The buttons have a smooth texture and feel nice when you press them, but here, while very firm, they could be a bit more "clicky". Again, comparing it to my G600, I'd say I prefer the G600's button response due to its sharper feedback. Weight: The device comes with a small set of weights already placed in the case. I left them inside although they are easy to install. remove and you can lighten the mouse a bit if needed. Size and Fit: I'm 6ft and have slightly larger than normal hands for my frame, but I've never had a problem with standard mouse sizes being uncomfortable. My sister, 5ft 4" with skinny arms (at least compared to my meat hooks), said they were comfortable, although she would have preferred to make them a little lighter. However, we both use our palm, so I can't say how a clawed user will feel about it Glide and Sensor: The M908's sensor is reliable, I've tested it on a variety of surfaces, including newspaper, and it tracks those movement without problems. You have to tinker with the sensor. Settings in the software to get the settings I want, I found the default acceleration settings a bit slow for my liking. Value: I've never been shy about spending money on a component, I'm looking for quality and reliability, but I can't tell you how many times a higher price hasn't delivered the quality I expected. With the M908 you get excellent value for money, much better than Razer or Logitech. I've had several units from both lines and have regretted the purchase time and time again, usually within a few months, you know just enough that you just can't return it. I've owned the M908 for 8 months prior to writing this review and am very happy with my purchase so far. Of course, it could benefit from a few design tweaks, but you get a lot of features and reliability for the money you're spending. If you found this helpful let me know by clicking below. I would appreciate the motivation to post more of these reviews.
