I ordered this to migrate data from my old MacBook Pro hard drive to my new Crucial m4 2.5" 512GB SATA 6Gb/s CT512M4SSD2. This is excellent quality for the purpose Pros:* Very easy to use.* Does exactly what it says on the tin, connect a 2.5" laptop SATA hard drive to the USB port. * Inexpensive, but not cheap. Cons: * A Rubber sleeve for your old hard drive is really only good for protecting your hard drive while you are transferring data from it.You will not want to use this product as a solution to keeping your old hard drive in service for much longer than to copy/clone/resync your data off it than external drive.* This is the WRONG product if you are using a 3.5" hard drive. Drive via a SATA to USB adapter. .*You must connect both USB ports to the adapter. One for data and one for the extra Le power needed to spin up some hard drives.
