This is a cheap tool and should be avoided. As an electrical engineer, I often use side cutters in my work. These tools typically last a year or two before they need to be replaced because the cutting edges become too dull. I figured if I ordered a $22 tool from JH Williams I'd get better quality steel that would last a little longer. Upon opening the packaging of these cutters, it was immediately apparent that these are inferior quality cutters that can usually be found anywhere for $5-6. In particular, the cutting edges do not meet properly and a gap can be seen between the edges when the knives are fully closed. Also, the loop is very tight and rough. It takes two hands to fully open the knives and a lot of strength to close them.
