Review on Kumho Road Venture M/T KL71 245/80 R15 104Q all season by Mateusz Kazana ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A very high-quality product, I take it not for the first time.

265/75 R16 (with alloy wheel - almost 36 kg wheel) on L 200 triton. Diesel car, no elevator. On this rubber, I always left ambush places without outside help. A few examples. A dried puddle on a forest road in a cave. On top of the crust - under it is a mass resembling plasticine in consistency. The car sits on bridges - there is no movement either backward or forward on full drive. Sharp short turns of the steering wheel to the right and left with gas supply - the car crawled, slowly but surely got out. Hong Kong region, early May, riding on a NOT plowed field (muddy soil, clay in places, wetlands). Bleed up to 1 atm (flattening very well) - goes in any direction. Repeated overcoming of fords, puddles on loam, black soil in the spring fields of the Hong Kong region, sandy rises. Rubber is running! In combination with a diesel engine - it's hard for me to imagine a better option. In my opinion, it is not necessary. On asphalt, it does not behave very confidently on rear-wheel drive - at a speed of more than 60, the car scours on bumps. Much better at full speed. About coupling qualities - somehow braked from 50 km / h "to the floor" under the abs crackle. The rubber worked surprisingly well. On smooth dry asphalt at a speed of 130-140 it is quite comfortable and manageable. The result is a very worthy behavior both in the mud and on asphalt, combined with an attractive price. Minus - balancing with large wheel sizes.

Pros
  • Good self-cleaning. Decent traction on asphalt. Thanks to the directional pattern, it always leaves a chance to get back.
Cons
  • Badly balanced. Noise, but that's subjective.
