I know it sounds strange but I bought this to keep my senior dogs indoors when they are ill and/or unable to control their physical functions. It's such a sad time when your furry little ones need to be locked up and separated from family when they are sick. I have 4 elderly Miniature Dachshunds and there are times when they need to be caged for their own protection. It's the perfect solution, they can stay in the room with us, don't jump off the furniture and in case of an accident, they're easy to clean. I have a larger one for home use but we spend a lot of time in our van so I took this one to travel with us. It is very easy to fold and comes with a carry bag for easy portability. It fits my needs perfectly and I recommend it!
