I have this as part of my home stereo. I also have a 1/2w FM transmitter in my stereo box. It works out. This unit has more options etc than I need but that's ok. Komplants: If you turn it off, when you turn it back on it goes to the LINE input. Then you have to select FM again and then I have to go back to my station. (Why can he remember these settings?) I can only select a station with the remote control so I can't lose it. As a result, I leave this device on 24/7 and turn the volume down when not in use. Another complaint is that the LEDs are too bright, so I opened up the case and adjusted the blue LED so that just a bit of light hits the volume knob, which is a huge improvement. I also limited the RED mode/FM reading. They don't look bright in the picture but when in a dark room they sparkle and light up the whole room. The sound quality is good, so happy with the purchase.
