Great hiking socks, warm and comfortable. Polyester, Acrylic and Spandex to make it durable and easy to clean. The spandex portion encompasses the entire upper, not just the band at the very top, allowing them to wrap around the foot and stay in place well. They are very comfortable to wear and fit my foot size 10.5/11 (male) perfectly. I was a little worried about the fit as it states a maximum of 10.5 but no problem - if anything I would worry that they might be too loose and bulky on feet at the bottom of the stated ranges. They're thick - significantly thicker than a suit sock and even a bit thicker than most athletic socks - but the thickest part is the sole, which provides good cushioning underfoot but isn't bulky elsewhere. However, I can't wear them with narrower shoes, but they go perfectly with my hiking boots and other outdoor work shoes. All in all good wool blend socks that are machine washable. for hiking or clothing in cold weather. I love it.
