Dacron and cotton do not irritate the sole when you walk several kilometers at a time. After wearing it for 3 weeks, my psoriasis has greatly improved. My toes were swollen and bleeding from being pinched in regular socks, but I felt instant relief when they separated in my boots. I recommend line drying as these socks are too small for men. I wear women's size 7 wide and they are just a little too long. Possibly a size 9 for a standard width foot. 4 pairs out of 5 were ok but 1 pair was too snug and tight even though they were all long enough to stay on the ankle. I have ordered more. The best comfort I've had in years. i am 68
