Yes, within a few days of receipt of this product. HP is sending me a message that kits are no longer supported for my computer. Well as I see it, no big deal, upgrading and buying this product saved me from having to buy a new computer for a long time. Now to the product. I like it. Makes packing and installing my laptop a breeze. It also had room to remove the CD drive from my laptop and replace it with a second hard drive. Then I plugged the CD drive into the docking station. If you have the right cart, you can put a second hard drive in the dock instead. Pretty smooth. It even had ports for an outdated serial keyboard and mouse. The only thing I wish the LED on top would turn off when not in use.
