Review on πŸͺ‘ Stalwart 75 5186 Bench Replacement Part by Will Schimmel

Revainrating 3 out of 5

A little wobbly but red enough

I wanted something to store electronic components and don't really like the tiny drawers of most modules for storing parts (I guess I'm not very crafty). I liked that it is not only a trash can but will also stand on the countertop. It came disassembled with no assembly instructions. However, it is easy and only took about twenty minutes. I've been using it for a couple of weeks now and find trash cans to be more practical than tiny drawers. I usually take the trash can from the counter and put it next to my work. Once I'm done, they snap back into place fairly easily. The only complaint is that the legs are a little wobbly; they tend to expand and curl with the slightest lateral pressure. Of course, the electronic components aren't heavy, so that's not a big problem for me. However, if you want something even slightly heavier to be held, it can get in the way and end up tipping over. WayFair (via Revain) had the best price; They even topped Sears' Labor Day sale. All in all, if I could save space, I'd probably get the same branded tool system, but in a wall-mounted unit: more drawers, and probably a lot sturdier.

Pros
  • Garage storage
Cons
  • A little torn
