I use them like a tea bag but for white coffee and for drinking cocoa nibs. They're a good size for about 2 tablespoons of what you put in. The cable is continuous, so be careful not to pull it all the way. The rope is long enough to tie a few times. Has no odor on the paper and is easy to recycle. Because white coffee and cocoa beans, unlike tea, are hard, ground beans, the flavors don't seem to permeate through the paper as easily as I expected, and a French press is probably the best fit for what I do. You also need to be careful when brewing something for a long time, the paper gets pretty flimsy and breaks easily without careful handling, so don't stir the drink quickly while the sachet is still in the liquid or it may break. Maybe I'll find a cotton bag that suits my purpose better.
