When looking for an LED light, I first wanted to make sure it had good reviews. As a beautician and person who likes to research products before buying; I am writing this to enlighten people and help them decide if this is a light for them. First, an LED light is an LED light. The only thing left to check is the performance. I've read some reviews that complained that their polish didn't last long but never mentioned the products they used or the application process. The problems you may be having are probably related to the polish you are using or the application. I've had 2 weeks with my nail polish and it looks like I just put it on. I used OPI Gel Base Coat, Polish and Top Coat. The LED light will NOT work with regular polish. prepare nails; File nail, polish and clean with acetone nail polish remover. If you apply lotion or use soap after prepping your nails, you MUST use acetone again. the edges of your nail bed as well as the tip of your nail. Once the top coat has cured you MUST use at least 70% alcohol or the polish will become sticky, short lived etc. I hope this helps at least one person looking for LED lighting for their nails. I have had no issues with this light and would recommend it.
